Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens has officially toppled Avatar as the highest grossing movie in North America effectively destroying box office records. In just one month Star Wars has surpassed the money grossed by Avatar in its entire run in theatres. Congratulations to J.J Abrams and everybody involved!
